From time to time people need to move their domain names from domain name registrars to other ones due to bad service or pricing.
Making the transfer is actually a fairly easy task provided that your domain name has not yet expired and you have approx 10-15 days before the expiration of the domain name. You submit a ticket to us via the Support Center at http://support.andrechelle.com providing the domain name you wish to transfer. We then contact the registrar to request the transfer and they email the email address on file for the domain. Once you receive the request for transfer email, you would either respond to the email, or follow their steps for releasing the name to a new company. Once you accept the transfer, it takes about 72 hours and you're 100% transferred.
Two things to do before we do any moving;
1) Verify that your domain doesn't have a LOCK on it preventing the transfer;
2) Verify that the contact email address on the REGISTER section is a valid email address for you.
3) Request your Authorization Key from your existing domain registrar. We will need this to proceed with the transfer request.
If you domain name has a LOCK on it, you will need to contact the place you registered the domain name with and ask them to remove the lock so you can transfer the domain. This process shouldn't take longer than a few hours to complete.
If your email address is different, or the email address on file is no longer used, you will need to contact your existing registrar and update the email address for the account BEFORE submitting the request to transfer. Some registrars have a control panel to allow you to do this directly on their website.
